I am a lucky mom of two amazing children, wife to the most supportive husband, and full-time caregiver for our grandfather. When I’m not having fun with my family and friends or going to the gym, I can be found in my studio making jewelry. I have always been intrigued with how the past ties into the present. As a young girl, I made jewelry with seed beads and never forgot the joy in wearing something that was handmade. As an adult, I began metalsmithing but it was only recently that I found out that my grandmother metalsmithed on her front porch in Vermont as a young women. I only knew her as a talented oil painter and was excited to “feel” the connection with her once again. It is my love of the past that has me drawn to work with antique sterling silverware. You will find “Spoon-Up-Memories” as an individual section in my shop. It is borrowing from the past, up-cycling well loved and sometimes heirloom sterling silverware into unique jewelry. My jewelry making has grown from metal smithing to fine silver clay and also polymer clay. I want everyone to feel confident and beautiful when wearing my jewelry! Only Love and positive energy were used to put pieces together!
